On an annual basis the Government commissions a survey of the impact the National PE, School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL) Strategy is having on participation amongst the 5-16 age range.
Success is measured against national targets and Public Service Agreement (PSA) targets.
Nationally this targeted was exceeded, hitting 90%. At a local level, 95% of our young people within the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership achieved the target - a fantastic achievement!
The survey also provides valuable data for schools when completing school Self Evaluation Forms (SEFs).
A copy of the 2007-08 PESSCL survey results, showing a breakdown school by school as compared to Partnership and national averages, can be found by clicking here.
Should you require any help in interpreting the data or perhaps you would like to discuss how we might support you in achieving future sport specific or whole school plans, please do not hesitate to contact your School Sport Co-ordinator.
