Take 10 encompasses carefully selected 10-minute activity ideas, arranged in key stages and in six activity themes, to stimulate effective learning in the classroom and motivate children to become active young people.
With growing concern over obesity, and with evidence that active children are effective learners, many schools are looking for ideas to create more active young people. The Take 10 resource makes it easier for all teachers to create an active culture within the class.
Support from the Big Lottery has so far allowed us to introduce Take 10 into around half of our primary schools. As well as being great fun schools have also reported a positive impact on:
