Engaging and retaining ‘less-active’ young people in innovative school sports clubs.
This training is designed to develop the knowledge and expertise in school staff to enable
Change4Life Clubs to be delivered effectively and use the clubs to raise achievement and
attainment in their school.
The training will cover:
- Understanding the issues facing children’s inactivity·
- The principles of Change4Life Sports Clubs
- Positioning the programme with the school improvement plan
- The 5 steps to successful delivery· Including young leaders and family members (inc. Parents)
Target audience: Teachers/SENCos/TA’s/Lunchtime supervisors – anyone who is to be involved in coordinating, leading and/or delivering a Primary Change4Life Club
