30 active minutes for every child, every day!
This session will help PE Coordinators and SLT to increase their awareness and understanding of the Governments 60 active minutes ambition and the role of schools in achieving 30 active minutes for every child every day. The session will look at the Active School Planner, a free online tool for primary schools to track and improve physical activity levels in their pupils, and the Youth Sport Trust Active 30:30 Resource – 10 Steps to an Active School.
Chance 2 Shine
This session will explore the new Chance to Shine Schools Resource, a fun, active and inclusive set of activities designed to inspire 5 to 11 year olds to play and learn through cricket.The resource supports an active learning approach to many areas of the national curriculum including maths, English, science, geography and PSHE – helping to create an active classroom environment.
