St Edburg's Dance Showcase

All children at St. Edburg’s School have been doing dance during their P.E lessons this term, as the equipment had been packed up and sent over to their new school ready for exciting lessons in January.  As a celebration of all their hard work throughout the term, they came together this afternoon and had the opportunity to perform to each other in a beautiful new part of the building called ‘The Round’ – a perfect performing space!

Year six started off the afternoon, full of energy, with a Jive!  Year five followed with a contemporary, emotive war dance.

Year four lightened the mood again with a tricky partner salsa and Year three finished off the performances with a traditional English country dance.

Well done to all of KS2 – performing to an audience isn’t always an easy thing to do, but they did themselves proud!
