Kidlington Family Year 5 Multiskills

Four of our local Primary Schools; St Thomas More, West Kidlington, Edward Field and North Kidlington joined us for our Multi Skills Event.

They battled through ten stations designed by our Young leaders – stations that were designed to test the students resilience and determination which was our value for the day.

The students were tested in a variety of skill areas through; table tennis rallies, hoop shoots, secret codes, relays and cricket bowling developing our all-round athletes. Accompanying teachers were also encouraged to take part with some of their teams – providing glimpses of sporting promise!

The second part of the event saw the teams compete in an all action Benchball competition where the students looked to not only apply their skills but also work out and implement tactics and strategy within their teams.

Students showed tremendous team work throughout and huge self determination to complete all challenges.

St Thomas More ran out eventual winners with just a few points in it at the end.

With a big thankyou to our Gosford leaders for their outstanding work with our primary schools.
