Banbury Area Tennis

Year 3 and 4 students from the Banbury Area enjoyed a morning of tennis at Banbury Academy on Thursday 5th May.  The sun shone as the 52 children from The Grange, Harriers, Hillview, Hanwell Fields, Bishop Loveday and Queensway enjoyed a fun skills and games session, delivered by Year 9 students, before playing a series of matches.

The standard of tennis was very good and matches were hotly contested.  The final results saw Harriers take fourth place, Bishop Loveday take third with Hillview and Hanwell Fields finishing in joint first position.  Good luck to Hillview and Hanwell Fields who have qualified to compete at the partnership finals at Horton Tennis Club on Wednesday 15th June.
