Warriner Family Sportshall Athletics

Our Primary Sports Leaders have been working overtime this term. Giving up over 8 hours of their time after school to offer Primary pupils the opportunity to participate and compete in a variety of Sportshall Athletic activities. The leaders have completed two weeks of training prior to the three weeks of festivals. These festivals have included taster sessions, Gifted and Talented Festivals and an Inclusion Event.

The Gifted and Talented event was fiercely contested and resulted in the top three schools being separated by only 4 points. Deddington and Bloxham ended up tied in second place both with scores of 198 and the festivals winners on 202 points were Dr Radcliffes School who progress onto the area final.

The School games value attached to these festivals has been Passion. This had clearly been embodied by Athletes, Leaders, Spectators and Teachers.

It has been a terrific series of events which has been very well attended by Primary Athletes and supported by The Warriner Sports Leaders.
