Change 4 Life festival – 7th July 2017

Change 4 Life held a summer festival at Banbury academy to celebrate a year of successful clubs in Schools. The festival was well attended by 8 local schools who bought a total of 137 pupils, supported by accompanying staff and a total of 20 young leaders from Banbury academy.

Activities ranged from capture the flag to archery and even orienteering. Everyone had the opportunity to work with their own friends but also to mix with pupils from other schools and were therefore pushed out of their comfort zones.

The young leaders did a great job of encouraging and supporting all children to do their best and not give up if things didn’t work the first time.

We were all very pleased with the huge amount of effort that all pupils showed and teachers commented on how proud they were of their own little Change for life team.

Well done everyone and remember to find a safe space and try to play some games with friends over the summer!
