Year 3 Team Building & Multi skills Event
Thursday 21st September 2017
177 students and 3 primary leaders from Edward Field, West Kidlington, North Kidlington & St Thomas More Primary Schools took part in the Kidlington Partnership Year 3 Team Building & Multi skills festival. With the event being run by 20 Gosford Hill School leaders meaning exactly 200 students were active at today’s festival! Wow!
From the 4 schools there were a total of 17 teams who competed across 9 different stations. The festival focused on our school games value of ‘Teamwork’. They tackled some exciting and challenging multi skills stations such as ‘shuttle cock relay’, ‘tunnel ball’, ‘target hoops’ and ‘agility relay challenge’. As well as many team building stations such as ‘mat rescue’, ‘minefield’, ‘bench games’ and many more. The students performed amazingly and the teamwork skills on show were a credit to all pupils involved and all accompanying staff.
A big thank you must go to the 20 Gosford Hill School Sports Leaders, as well as the 3 Edward Field School Sports Leaders, who expertly guided the pupils around the stations and ensured that the event ran as smoothly as possible. The leaders from Gosford were outstanding and visiting staff were full of praise. A group of truly excellent role models.
A big thanks to all that took part and congratulations to all of the students.
