Bicester Rugby Club Introductory session

On Wednesday the 4th of November Students from years 7 and 8 from both BCC and Cooper schools made the short journey to Bicester RFC to have a go at Rugby.

The afternoon was organised to allow those students who are not involved in community Rugby the ooprtunity to see what it would be like.

Prior to a game being played between the two schools, a session was lead by Community Rugby Coach Gary Morris. This dealt with some of the basics of the game such as rucking and mauling.

Following the game, all students went into the club to meet with the coaches and got details on the opportunities available to them through the club.

All students left the club having had a good time and full of enthusiasm at the prospect developing there involvement in the game with the Rugby club further.
