KIDLINGTON TRI GOLF FESTIVAL
Released: 3rd July 2009 at 13:20 PM
Andy Taylor from Kirtlington Golf Club hosted a golf festival for sixty year 3 and 4 children on Friday July 3rd. It was arranged to coincide with National Sports Week.
The children moved around four stations of chipping and putting and had the opportunity to play with real clubs and balls at two of the stations. The driving range was turned into a mini golf course and Megan from West Kidlington managed to get 3 holes in one!! Leaders from Gosford Hill assisted the children with their games.
The children all received a certificate for participating, a copy of the Golf Passport and details of the coaching courses on offer at Kirtlington during the summer holidays.
