Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week 2010

Registration is now open for Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week 2010 which takes place between 28 June and 2 July, so make sure you save the date and sign your school up to take part at www.schoolsportweek.org (even if you have planned your activities for 21 June to 25 June, you can still sign up).

If you register by Friday 18 December, you will be entered into a free prize draw to win a sporting master class from an Olympic or Paralympic hero during the week.

In 2009 more than 10,000 schools and 3 million children took part.  Schools organised their own opening and closing ceremonies, torch relays, inter and intra school competitions, pupils made sports pledges to take part in more sport and to try something new. North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership was recognised for our contribution to Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week 2009, and in 2010 we hope to develop on that success and provide even more opportunities for young people to take part in school and community sport.

By registering for Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week 2010, you will receive free resources from the Youth Sport Trust to help fulfil your objectives for PE and school sport.  North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership will also be offering ideas and resources to help inspire young people and celebrate school sport.
