More than 100 KS1 children participated in the Cooper Family of Primary Schools Multi-Skills Festival held at The Cooper School on November 20. The event was organised by The Cooper School on behalf of the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership and was run by Year 9 Sports Leaders from The Cooper School. The 25 Leaders organised warm ups for the younger children, showed them the activities, helped them to improve their performance and ran competitions.
Twelve teams from Langford Village, Charlton-on-Otmoor, Fringford, Launton and Longfields Primary Schools participated in a circuit of activities designed to develop different aspects of skill. For nearly half of the children, this was their first experience of inter-school sport.
The event proved to be highly successful and great fun for all.
