YEAR 3/4 ATHLETICS COMPETITION
YEAR 3/4 ATHLETICS COMPETITION
Released: 30th June 2009 at 15:00 PM
Four Kidlington schools took part in the Year 3.4 athletics competition held at Gosford Hill School on June 25th. West Kidlington, North Kidlington, St Thomas More and Edward Feild all fielded a team.
The children achieved some fantastic results in both the track (600M, 200M and 50M) and field events (speed bounce, standing long jump and vortex throw). Year 8 and Year 9 leaders from Gosford did an excellent job at officiating.
The final positions were very close with Edward Feild coming fourth, North Kidlington and West Kidlington coming joint 2nd and St Thomas More coming first.
