On Friday the 12th June the Bicester Community College Family of Primary schools held the annual Kwik Cricket competitions.
The competition took place at Bicester and North Oxford Cricket club, in Chesterton.
The weather on the day was fantastic, this was matched with the best ever turnout for this competition, with teams from Kings Meadow, Chesterton, Southwold, Brookside, Fritwell and Bure Park.
The Year 5 boys competition was a closely fought competition, with Bure Park and Kings Meadow going head to head in the final, with Bure Park having won the previous match.
Excellent bowling from Kings Meadow restricted the Bure park score, with Kings Meadow winners in the final by 14 runs.
The Year 6 Boys competition was decided on a league basis with Southwold coming out as overall winners.
The Year 5 and 6 girls was again closely fought with Brookside losing only 1 game, however the overall winners were Southwold, who were undefeated during the course of the competition.
During the course of the day a total of 19 leaders were used to run the 3 separate competitions, which involved a total of 140 participants.
Well done to all those involved.
Mr Wootton
