Gifted & Talented Sportshall Athletics Final
Gifted and Talented Sportshall Athletics Finals

On the 27 March this year the partnership Year 5,6 Gifted and Talented sportshall athletics final took place at BGN School. The winning teams from their family competitions took part in the events which included sprints, longer distance and relay races along with the field events of standing long jump, seated throw and the speed bounce.
Edward Fields, West Kidlington, Kings Meadow, Langford Village and Hanwell Fields took part in the closely contested final which saw Kings Meadow take the title with West Kidlington the runners up and Langford Village in Third.
The standard from each school was very high and it was evident that the coaching and training beforehand paid off.
The event was officiated by BGN school sports leaders who are now experienced at running secondary and primary sportshall events professionally.
Good luck to Kings Meadow and West Kidlington who go through to represent North Oxfordshire School Sports Partnership at the County sportshall finals.

The annual Kwik Cricket Festival for The Cooper Family of Primary Schools took place on 18 May 2012. This event was organised by The Cooper School and was played at Bicester and North Oxford Cricket Club.
