Released: 27th March 2009 at 09:00 AM
Lee Jackson, the Professional at North Oxford Golf Club, has been teaching six Year 7 students on the astro pitch at Gosford for the last six weeks. For their seventh session they were invited to visit North Oxford Golf Club.
On the first tee Lee explained how the handicap system worked on the course and the difference between the different coloured tee markers. He then took the students to the practice bunker where he taught them the technique of chipping out!The students finished off their visit with a putting competition on the practice green. Elizabeth Hobbs had the lowest score and won the golf ball.
Well done to all students who took part. The improvement for all was 100%.
