NOSSP Sportshall Athletics Final 2009

The Cooper School hosted the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership Sportshall Athletics Final on Tuesday 10 March. The event was run by KS4 students from The Cooper School. It was the culmination of the Big Lottery supported Sportshall Athletics programme, organised by the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership, which has involved around 400 children.

Teams of Year 5 & 6 children from four schools from across the North Oxfordshire area contested the Final. The teams from North Kidlington, Launton, King's Meadow and the Grange Primary Schools had qualified for the competition by winning their local Festival. The events proved to be exciting and great fun. Launton School were the eventual winners, in a close competition, and the team members were presented with the trophy and individual medals by the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership Development Manager, Carl Hamilton.
