KIDLINGTON YEAR ONE DANCE FESTIVAL
Released: 10th March 2009 at 13:50 PM
One hundred and twenty-six Year 1 children across all five primary schools attended the Year One Dance festival on Monday. Following on from last years success, the story of Billy Goats Gruff was used again with some minor adjustments.
Thirty one leaders from Year 8 and 9 helped Lise Harris, Dance Co-ordinator from BGN School, to run the morning. They lead the children through a fun warm up and then taught them the routine. The children then all performed their finished dance in small groups.
Lise was very impressed with our students and the teachers accompanying the Year 1 children asked me to pass on their thanks to them.
