KIDLINGTON PARTNERSHIP YEAR 5/6 GIFTED AND TALENTED SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS FESTIVAL

Gifted and Talented youngsters from the Partnership Primary schools have taken part in a Sportshall Athletics festival. The week before the festival Year 10 students from Gosford took the children through each of the events to help them make an informed choice as to which events they would like to enter. Four schools took part in the competition with six boys and six girls making up a team. The races were very close and exciting and there were some excellent results in the field events. West Kidlington and Edward Feild shared first place with St Thomas More and then North Kidlington following closely behind. Both of the winning schools will go through to the Partnership Finals in the New Year. Gosford students motivated and encouraged the children and their officiating was excellent. Congratulations to them all.
