COOPER FAMILY MULTI-SKILLS FESTIVAL 2008
More than 120 KS1 children participated in the inaugural Cooper Family of Primary Schools Multi-Skills Festival held at The Cooper School on November 28. The event was organised at The Cooper School on behalf of the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership and was run by Year 9 Sports Leaders from The Cooper School. The 29 Leaders organised warm ups for the younger children, showed them the activities, helped them to improve their performance and ran competitions.

Fourteen teams from Langford Village, Charlton-on-Otmoor, Glory Farm, Fringford, Finmere and Launton Primary Schools participated in a circuit of activities designed to develop different aspects of skill. For most children this was their first experience of inter-school sport. The children have been receiving Multi-Skills coaching sessions in their schools, provided by The North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership, and the Festival provided an opportunity for the youngsters to put their skills to the test.
The event proved to be highly successful and great fun for all.
