Following on from a request from Bicester Atheltics club and Many of the local primary schools, the inaugural Bicester Primary schools Cross country was run at BCC. The event organised in partnership with Bicester Athletics club and the school sports partnership was open to girls and boys in year 3,4,5 and 6.
Entries on the day were made up from Fritwell, Chesterton, Bure Park, Brookside, Kings Meadow, Langford Village and Longfields, with a total of 232 pupils taking part on the day.
Overall team awards on the day 1st Langford Village, 2nd Kings Meadow, 3rd Bure Park, 4th Brookside.
A big thanks must go to all of the year 9 and 10 leaders that turned out to act as marshalls, scorers and officials on the day, without whom the event would not have been able to run.

The annual Kwik Cricket Festival for The Cooper Family of Primary Schools took place on 18 May 2012. This event was organised by The Cooper School and was played at Bicester and North Oxford Cricket Club.
