40 year 10 students have spent the last term working towards their dance leadership award.
Within their PE lessons they have choreographed a dance either individually or in pairs.
The students then taught their dance to a group of year 5 students. There were between 6 and 12 in each group. Once the leaders had taught their dance to the students the students then performed their dances to the rest of the groups as well as a judging panel consisting of, Sarah Hastings our partnership dance co-ordinator, Lisa Glyn a member of the Banbury School staff, as well as two yr 11 students who took part in the festival the previous year.
There were over 200 primary school students involved in the festival.
The winners of the festival will go on to take part in the Banbury School Gymnastic, Dance and Trampolining display.
