This workshop looks at the research, rationale and benefits of introducing 'active maths' into the school curriculum - focusing on how this approach is raising attitudes and attainment to maths in schools across the UK and internationally.
Delegates will be introduced to the multi award winning educational resource 'Maths of the Day' (www.mathsoftheday.org) - an online resource which provides teachers with 2000+ lesson plans and resources on how to deliver maths through physical activity.
Please note: this course is for qualified teachers only, but is open to Maths Leaders, PE Leaders, Headteachers and/or Senior Leaders.
