Rules:

Teams should consist of 5 players with a maximum of 10 players in the squad.

Matches will be 5 a side, including a Goalkeeper, and played in general conformity with the rules as issued by the Football Association. In particular, please note the following:

Every player must wear shin guards and studded boots are allowed.

Rolling substitutions are allowed at any point during the match with the referee’s discretion.

All players should receive an equal amount of game time. A good practice recommendation is at least 50%.

Goal kicks should be taken from anywhere inside the penalty area.

At a goal kick, opponents must retreat to their own half until the ball is in play. The defending team does not have to wait for the opposition to retreat and has the option to restart the game before, should they choose to. The ball is in play when it is kicked directly out of the penalty area.

Goalkeepers are allowed to kick the ball from their hands

Goalkeepers should not take longer than 6 seconds to release the ball

       The back pass rule applies

Opposing players should be at least 5 yards away from the ball at free kicks, goal kicks and corner kicks.

Overhead throw ins or underarm roll ins are allowed

Reframed If a team has a clear 3 goal lead, then the opposing team is permitted to introduce an additional player – should the lead increase to 5 goals, then a second player is permitted. Players should be removed if/when the goal difference is reduced.
