BGN students help Oxfordshire Cricket

11 BGN students stepped in at the last minute to allow two coaches to be assessed by Rupert Evans (Oxfordshire Cricket Development Manager) Ashley Blanchard, opening bowler for Banbury 1st team and Sam Ryan, batsman for Banbury20 were put through their paces to complete their level 2 coaching qualifications. Sam is about to start a degree at Leeds University and Ashley is travelling to Perth to play for Western Australia. Amy Freeman said she was excited to get back to cricket after injury had sidelined her for 6 weeks. She was eager to develop her bowling action and both Sam and Ashley gave her some excellent coaching tips.
