Year 1 Multi-Skills at Banbury Academy

Year 1 children from Banbury Academy’s cluster of primary schools had a very busy day on Thursday 23rd June running, dodging, chasing, skipping, aiming, balancing, throwing and catching!  Nearly 200 children from Dashwood, Harriers, The Grange and Queensway attended the multi-skills festival day which was designed to develop the children’s physical literacy through a range of fun activities.  25 Year 7 students from Banbury Academy delivered the festival following leadership training during their PE lessons. They did a fantastic job and teachers commented that they were “hugely impressed by their nurturing attitude” and that “they should feel very proud of themselves.”
