Rugby game at William Morris inspires pupils

On Friday 9th December, William Morris Primary School Tag Rugby Team played their first ever match against Orchard Fields Primary School. The rugby team, captained by Billy-Jay Allgood-Lindsay from Redwood Class, put in a monstrous effort in a fiercely fought competition.

William Morris scored several skilful tries and worked together as they defended like Trojans! The final score was 11-7 to William Morris. We are extremely proud of all the children who took part and those that supported. A massive thank you to Mr Pemble for training our team and organising the fixture.
