Banbury Academy Year 1 multi skills

It was a fantastic turn out at Banbury Academy’s Year 1 multi-skills festival on Thursday 4th May with nearly 300 children attending.  The sun shone as the children rotated around lots of different activities which were planned and delivered by a team of 43 young leaders from year 7 and 8.  The children really enjoyed their first ever festival and showed lots of self-belief, determination and respect throughout the morning.

Feedback from accompanying adults –

“The children loved it!”

“Well done! I thought the leaders today were excellent.  Great enthusiasm and encouragement.”

“Such a great morning.  Young leaders were outstanding with clear direction, expectations and enthusiasm.  The children learnt a range of new skills and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Thank-you.”

“Thank-you!  It was a very calm and well organized event.”
