Change 4 Life Festival (South)

Yesterday, over 70 children and staff from Edward Field, Southwold, Chesterton, Bure Park, Fringford, Five Acres and Brookside primary schools attended a Change 4 Life festival at The Cooper School.

The value for the festival was ‘passion’ and each and every child demonstrated this brilliantly, showing 100% effort, enthusiasm and enjoyment in activities such as Boccia, Tic Tac Toe, Farmers and Foxes and Basketball.

The children all enjoyed trying some new activities, such as badminton (with balloons and shuttlecocks!), and showed real passion and determination when they were challenged to climb the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, as a team. Congratulations to Edward Feild who managed to almost get to the very top!

It was wonderful to see these children and their teachers having fun and being active together , to see rosy cheeks and smiling faces and to hear comments such as “best day ever!” and “I loved playing with my friends” and staff commenting on what a “wonderful way” to start the week.
