Bicester focus Sportshall Athletics

The 7th of March saw Bicester clusters second round of Sportshall athletics. Kings Meadow, Fritwell, Southwold, Chesterton and Five Acres participated in an eight station circuit style event. Students got to try out events such as a one lap obstacle race, chest push, target throw and hurdles. The event focus was to give it a go! For many this was the first time they had experience sports hall athletics, although a little daunting at the start, the fantastic year 8 Bicester School leaders helped to demonstrate and support the students through the events. 

Well done to all the students who won an event and an even bigger well done to everyone who came and gave it a go! Shout out of the day goes to Kings Meadow school for being speed bounce champions!!!
