Banbury Academy Kwik Cricket 2018

280 children from Dashwood, The Grange, Hanwell Fields, St. Mary's, St. Leonard's, Hillview and Queensway participated in the Banbry Academy Cluster Kwik Cricket festival on Thursday 14th June.

It was a very busy day as 28 teams played a total of 58 matches across 4 seperate competitions - Y5/6 Girls, Y5 boys, Y5/6 Boys Plate and Y5/6 Boys Cup.

Congratulations to Hillview A Girls team who won their competition, Grange B Girls were 2nd and Grange A Girls 3rd.   

Congratulation to the Y5/6 Hanwell Fields A Boys Team who won the Cup competition, St. Leonard’s A Boys came 2nd and St. Mary’s A Boys came 3rd.

Congratulations to the Y5/6 Hanwell Fields B Boys Team for winning the Plate competition, Hillview B Boys came 2nd and Queensway B Boys came 3rd.

Congratulations to the Y5 Grange Boys who won their competition, Hillview came 2nd and St. Leonard’s 3rd.

Well done to all the winning teams and good luck to the Hillview Girls, the Y5/6 Hanwell Fields Boys and the Y5 Grange Boys who go have qualified for the partnership finals in July.   

Thank you to Banbury Cricket Club for allowing us to use their beautiful pitches and to the 15 Banbury Academy Sports Leaders who umpired all the matches.
