Wykham Park Ac. Y5/6 Kwik Cricket Fetsival

Y5/6 students from The Grange, Hanwell Fields, St. Mary's, St. Leonard's, Hillview and Queensway participated in the Wykham Park Academy Cluster Kwik Cricket festival on Thursday 23rd May.

It was a very busy day as 22 teams played a total of 50 matches across 4 separate competitions - Y5/6 Girls, Y5 mixed, Y5/6 Mixed A Cup and Y5/6 Mixed B Cup.

The winners of the Y5/6 Girls Competition were Hillview A Team, with The Grange coming second and Hanwell third. 

The winners of the Y5/6 Mixed A Team Competition were The Grange, with Hanwell Fields coming second and St. Leonard’s and Hillview finishing in joint third.

The winners of the Y5/6 Mixed B Team Competition were Hanwell, with Hillview coming second and The Grange third.

The winners of the Y5 Mixed Competition were Hillview, with Hanwell coming second and The Grange coming third.

Well done to all the winning teams and good luck to the Hillview Girls A Team, the Y5/6 Mixed Grange ATeam  and the Y5 Mixed Hillview Team who have qualified for the Oxfordshire Finals later this term.

Thank you to Banbury Cricket Club for allowing us to use their beautiful pitches and to the 12 Wykham Park Academy Sports Leaders who umpired all the matches.
