Wykham Park Ac. Y3/4 & Y5/6 Quadkids

159 children competed in the Wykham Park Academy Y3/4 and Y5/6 Quadkids Event on 6th June.  They made up 17 teams from 6 schools (Queensway, Dashwood, St. Mary's, Hanwell Fields, Hillview and The Grange) and all took part in a run, a sprint, a throw and a jump, earning points for each event.  The focus School Games Value was determination and the children certainly showed this in abundance as they went round the different activities.  Some of the children were awarded special determination certificates at the end....well done to these children!

The event was supported by 24 Wykham Park Academy Year 8 students who did a great job of organising, recording and encouraging the children.

Well done to all who participated and good luck to the top 2 teams in each category and the top 3 individuals who qualify for the Partnership Finals on Wednesday 19th June 1-4pm at The Cooper School
