Bicester Cluster Sports Hall Athletics Term 2

The annual Sports Hall Athletics was held on 23rd January 2020 and was smoothly run by The Bicester Athletics Club. 180 pupils filled the hall for an afternoon of athletics. Events included Track and Field. Track races included Obstacle relays, 1 & 2 lap relays, sprints, hurdles. Races were timed by the leaders and each race had a leader encouraging and guiding the pupils.The Field events included the chest push, triple and standing long jump; vertical jump; javelin and speed bounce. The events were skillfully timed or counted by a team of leaders who showed great maturity and professionalism throughout. The speed and ability of so many pupils was a joy to watch.

The Games Value was 'Determination'. Each pupil showed this quality in abundance. It was a tricky job for the teachers to nominate two pupils to receive this award.
