Pickpockets at St John’s Primary School!

Inspired by the term’s topic – Victorian England – Year 5 and 6 pupils in Miss Darnell’s class have been learning a Dance to You’ve Got To Pick a Pocket or Two from the musical ‘Oliver!’ in their PE lessons.

This morning, they performed the whole class piece to the rest of the school during the Talent Show. With a duration ofover 3 minutes the pupils had to remember complex sequences of movement and were reliant on each other for partner work. The energy and enthusiasm on display was infectious and the whole school got into the spirit of the performance.
