Warriner Sportshall Athletics

Our Primary Sports Leaders have been working overtime this term to offer Primary pupils from Year 5 and 6 the opportunity to participate and compete in a variety of Sportshall Athletic activities. The leaders have completed two weeks of training prior to the three weeks of festivals. These festivals have included B Team, A Team Competitions and an Inclusion Event.

The A Team event was fiercely contested and resulted in the top three schools being separated by only 8 points. Bloxham Primary were the eventual winners and Christopher Rawlins finished in second and Deddington third.

The School games value attached to these festivals has been Passion. This had clearly been embodied by Athletes, Leaders, Spectators and Teachers.

It has been a terrific series of events which has been very well attended by Primary Athletes, parents and supported by The Warriner Sports Leaders.
