Kidlington Family Yr 3/4 Mini Football Fest

On a cold but sunny afternoon at Stratfield Break, over 70 Children took part in the Kidlington Primary School Mini Football festival. Teams from Edward Field, North Kidlington, St Thomas More and North Kidlington battled it out in two groups of 5, before semi-finals & final. Our school games value was respect and it was amazing to see this clearly on show from all of the teams. The teams displayed excellent camaraderie and the afternoon saw some incredible action with goals galore, heroic defending and some great passing play.

The festival was expertly refereed and organised by leaders from Gosford Hill School with Kidlington Youth Football Club kindly loaning the equipment for the afternoon’s action.

Thank you to all that took part. Congratulations to St Thomas More 1 (Winners) & West Kidlington 2 (Runners Up) who progress through to the partnership finals.

Thank you to all staff members who attended and to the many parents, carers, aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters & grandparents who came to cheer on the pupils. I was amazed at how big the crowd was!
