Year 3/4 Inclusive target festival at Banbury

Children from 5 of Banbury Academy's family of schools had a great morning on Thursday 2nd March as they took part in the second of the three inclusion festivals.  This time the theme was targets, activities included archery, golf, bean bag tag and rolling prisoner dodge ball.  A team of 12 Year 9 Sports leaders guided the youngsters through the activities, giving them lots of help and encouragement.  Participation was celebrated with all the children receiving certificates.  Self-belief was the focus spirit of the games value with 2 children from each school recieving special awards for this at the end.

 Over 200 Y4-6s participated in the last event on the Banbury Academy 2017/2018 calendar on Thursday July 5th.  Targeted at children who had not yet attended a festival, it was a lovely event to finish with.
